Half-Dream In Grey

A light, silent drizzle. I float through the
pearly veil between awake and asleep.

A bell jar of mercury spills my reflection
and I cannot get myself back together.

Folded in silk sheets, finally, I find my
spheres coalesce into a mirrored lake.

I ripple adrift. Then, stillness.

heavy fog --
I disappear
lost in thought
